Professional Microsoft 365 Management

Microsoft 365 is more than just email. It’s licensing, security, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, compliance, and identity — and most businesses are using maybe 20% of what they’re paying for. Total Techs helps Southern Idaho businesses get M365 set up right and use it well.

Most businesses we work with discover they’ve been paying for M365 licenses they don’t use, missing security features they should be using, and operating with default settings that aren’t appropriate for business. Sometimes for years.

We fix that. License audit to make sure you’re on the right tiers. Security baseline configuration so MFA, conditional access, and audit logging are properly set up. Migration help if you’re moving from another system. Ongoing management so configurations stay current and your team gets help when they need it.

We work with M365 deployments from 5 users to several hundred. From Business Basic to Enterprise E5 — whatever fits your business.

What’s Included

What You Get

License Audit

We review your M365 licensing and identify where you’re overpaying. Often saves businesses 10-25% on M365 costs.

Security Baseline

MFA on all accounts. Conditional access policies. Audit logging. Default security configured properly — not the wide-open settings M365 ships with.

Email Migration

Moving from Google Workspace, on-premise Exchange, or another email system to M365? We handle the migration with minimal downtime.

SharePoint Setup

Document libraries, sites, permissions, and migration from network drives or Dropbox. Done so it’s actually usable by your team.

Teams Configuration

Channels, calling, meeting policies, external sharing controls, governance. Configured right from day one.

OneDrive & Backup

OneDrive sync configured properly. Plus third-party backup of M365 data — because Microsoft doesn’t actually back up your email, files, or SharePoint sites.

FAQ

Common Questions

QDo you sell M365 licensing?

Yes, through Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. CSP gives us more flexibility on billing, support, and changes than direct-from-Microsoft. Same Microsoft licenses, often better service.

QCan you migrate us from Google Workspace?

Yes — we do Google Workspace to M365 migrations regularly. Email, calendars, contacts, Google Drive to OneDrive/SharePoint. We’ve done several of these and have the process refined.

QWhat about Exchange Server on-premise?

We help businesses move off aging on-premise Exchange to M365 Exchange Online. Lower cost, better security, no server to maintain. Most migrations are done in evenings/weekends with no downtime for users.

QDoes Microsoft back up our M365 data?

Surprisingly, no — not in the way most businesses think. Microsoft replicates data for redundancy but doesn’t back up your mailboxes, SharePoint, or OneDrive against accidental deletion, malicious deletion, or ransomware. We add proper third-party M365 backup as part of our services.

QDo you support Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise?

Both. For most small businesses, Business Premium is the sweet spot — includes office apps, M365 Defender, Intune for device management, and Entra ID P1 for security. For larger or compliance-heavy businesses, we recommend Enterprise E3 or E5.
